So excited to announce that I will be joining the talented and motivated team at @luckyrosedenver as of June 1st (previously Three Kings Denver - now locally owned and operated with the same great people). I am brimming with excitement and joy at this opportunity. All deposits and appointments will honored, just in a great new location surrounded by some incredible people. I will be finishing up my @blackbirdinktattoo appointments until the end of June - no changes if you are scheduled with me there. Excited for this next step in my journey and will sincerely miss my family of Southern refugees @trampartdenver who deserve all the love and patronage as well as the kind and generous souls @blackbirdinktattoo. Early Western Europeans believed that horseshoes, which were most commonly forged from iron at the time, were a symbol of luck due blacksmiths being a lucky profession, iron representing a replant to malicious folklore, and the shape being similar to a crescent moon - representing fertility, luck and good fortune. Horseshoes were also thought to keep witches away. During the Crusades of the 12th century, horseshoes were accepted in lieu of money to pay taxes. Nail a horseshoe upward and it’s said it will fill up with luck, upside down and it’s said to pour luck on anyone that walks under it. All in all, horseshoes are cool. Get one tattooed.
