Nice to meet ya!
At the top, I want it known that I adore what I do.
I worked tirelessly for years to be in a position where I could start to hone tattooing. I am beyond dedicated to this craft and to my clients.
My path to tattooing began a little over 10 years ago in Gainesville, Florida where I was studying art at the university and also got a job as a receptionist at Bodytech Tattoo. This was the oldest shop in town and is an incredibly busy street & piercing shop. During those 3 or so years I began to completely fall in love with tattooing. Landing an apprenticeship is a hard gig and it seemed like that wasn’t the environment where it was going to happen. So I sold everything I had and moved to Asheville, North Carolina.
I landed a spot as a receptionist there at Forever Tattoo and eventually began my apprenticeship under Rob Hunt. It was exhausting, difficult and rewarding. During this time I was also a full time pastry chef at a local bakery. I maintained apprenticing and working 90 or so hour weeks for about two and a half years until I received tragic news that my dad was very sick with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. I had to pack up and return to Florida.
I returned to Gainesville, and to Bodytech Tattoo, where I continued to receive guidance under Wayne Lessard for around 4 or so years. The constant revolving door of unique clients all looking for walk-ins helped me cut my chops, be quick on my feet and successfully navigate all different kinds of situations.
I transitioned over to Oasis Tattoo in 2020. This is a beautiful shop my friends created nestled into the downtown historic district of Gainesville. The slower pace allowed me to focus more on custom designs and furnish stability and a wonderful basis of solid clients. This newfound stability allowed me to travel and see our country. I visited Colorado a handful of times in 2021 and completely fell in love. The beauty of this state had such an incredible staying power with me. I knew I had to spend some time here. That, paired with my desire to explore and cultivate a healthy lifestyle was all the fuel I needed to pull off this cross-country move.
And here I am! Ready to nourish a life of health, nature, good people, great art and personal growth. I moved here in September of 2022. I live in Boulder and work at Lucky Rose Tattoo in Denver. Previously under the name Three Kings, with the same great owner and crew. I work around such incredible people and artists. It is a safe space that you’ll be sure to feel comfortable in and get quality work from me and all my friends.
